Mini Gobi started off as a joke. Muttpop thought it’d be hilarious if Gobi drew Luchador likenesses of himself and Jerry on the side of the box. Monster5 liked the caricature of Gobi so much that he sculpted him for fun. The final sculpt was amazing…especially considering he did the entire sculpt based on one image (on other sculpts he had complete turnarounds) and no consultation from the Muttpop crew. The sculpt was so beautiful that they had to make a toy version. He’s also the impetus for the entire upcoming Mini line.
